Rule 34
A policy on occupational safety and health should be made

(1) Except as written elsewhere in the Act and this regulation, when the employer makes a policy regarding the safety and health of workers and other persons employed at the workplace, the safety precautions to be adopted at the workplace according to the nature of the work of the establishment, the health of the workers, the possible accidents that may occur at the workplace, the precautions to be taken while operating machinery and equipment at the workplace , should be made in such a way that the basis for ensuring business safety and health, including the precautions to be taken when using chemical substances considered to be sensitive from the point of view of health.
(2) In accordance with sub-rule (1), when the employer makes a policy related to occupational safety and health, if a safety and health committee has been formed in accordance with rule 37, the committee and if such a committee has not been formed, it shall consult with the workers or trade union representatives working in the relevant workplace.
